2025 Virtual Dada Festival: ETHICS CLEANSING

The rare privilege of spending an evening on an online stage with an extraordinary group of international DADA artists and writers published in MAINTENANT 19: Journal of Contemporary Dada Writing and Art (2025).

📖 MAINTENANT 19 is the latest in the ongoing annual MAINTENANT DADA journal series, established in 2008 in New York by Three Rooms Press. For 19 years, this independent publishing house has united artists and poets from around the world to elaborate on DADA’s original premise as an antiwar movement—a creative force that challenges, provokes, and reimagines.

This year’s edition features over 230 contributors from 30 countries and 6 continents, exploring the urgent theme “ETHICS CLEANSING.” With searing cover art by acclaimed Romanian artist Adrian Ghenie, MAINTENANT 19 continues DADA’s proud legacy of resistance through art.

I’ll be reading my poem “A Human Loves the Beauty First,” and Sara Maino will speak about her painting “Do-in Attento.”
