The poem “A Human Loves the Beauty First” and Sara Maino’s painting “Do-in Attento” reflecting on the theme of ETHICS CLEANSING is published in MAINTENANT 19: A Journal of Contemporary Dada Writing and Art.
MAINTENANT 19 is the latest in the ongoing annual MAINTENANT DADA journal series, established in 2008 in New York. This year’s issue features over 230 contributors from 30 countries and 6 continents, exploring the theme “ETHICS CLEANSING.” With searing cover art by renowned Romanian artist Adrian Ghenie, ‘MAINTENANT 19’ elaborates on DADA’s original premise as an ANTIWAR movement.
The MAINTENANT series, established in 2008, is an annual anthology showcasing the work of renowned and emerging contemporary Dada artists and writers from around the world. It is archived in prestigious international institutions, including the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and the BelVUE Museum in Brussels.
