If those poetrees could speak,
What would they say to you and me?
That time is sweet?
That time is fast?
That time is something to forget
To feel the clear blue skies
And someone’s hiding heart above?
If those poetrees could speak
What would they say to you and me
On strange beauty of digital birds
Whose shadows left the cell you pushed
In front of the projector?
If those poetrees could speak,
What would they say to you and me
About black-and-white E.D.E.N,
In charcoal: without people,
Just poetrees, the clouds and the pixels –
Is it a paradise or life on Earth after humanity?
When those poetrees will fall asleep
They will be dreaming you and me
Standing in awe – in soggezione –
In one very long moment
called ‘gioia’.
