There are quite a few milestones that comprise most art-based PhD journeys. Here is my recent one – a visualisation of a Russian-language symphonic poem ‘On How The Palace Bridge Opens Up Its Hands’ premiered at
StAnza, Scotland’s International Poetry Festival

We’ve been working hard for a few years already on the problem of how to translate lyric poetry to audio-visual medium. What we came up with is a “strategy of translation” that I call ‘#symphonism’.
