Born in the midst of war, #Dada was an anti-art, fed in New York by an international group of artists trying to escape the horror happening in Europe. As a nonsense art, its goal was to reveal the corrupt systems of order.
Today, we are a part of a multinational DADA family ran by Peter Carlaftes and Kat Georges !!!
In our yesterday’s dada show at the 2020 International Virtual DADA Festival, Sara Maino and I performed a one-way dialogue between a museum keeper and a coke&chips eater.
What we were trying to play with was the idea that one of the few things that still sustain our poor planet is our art and culture, and those must be protected.
